I only have one drawing commission in the queue, and that's a phalsona that'll be done in all of an hour or so once I sit down to do it.

I kind of want to draw stuff, and I kind of want to get more art of my characters, especially my Kirjak and my Guardian dragon.

So I think I'd like to do some art trades. Anybody interested let me know. I'll only take one or two right now, don't want to get bogged down, so I may have to turn people down. We'll see. :)

Still open for drawing commissions, of course! XD Sparklethings, phalsonas, fantasy, furry, whatever so long as it's not porn. $5 and up.

Important character details: It's hard to tell from the drawings because she's usually wearing clothes, but she has markings like this cat:

You know, if you join the art exchange communities like furry_artcard lj you'll get plenty of interesting characters to spend your free time drawing ^^; I tried to join anthrosketch exchange. Fail XD

I'd prefer to arrange private trades. For one thing there's somebody I dislike who is in practically all of those communities. :P It'd be just my luck I'd get paired with her, and then have to ask to not be, and there would be drama, because she is a drama queen.

Anyhow, I'll get sketching. :)

Guardian's appearance isn't fixed, so long as it's an eastern dragon, and has the colors purple, red, and gold somewhere.

Oooh, pretty. Mind if I draw her on an art card for you? 6x3 vellum. I got this new paper that works really well with colored pencils. I just love the texture.

It's pretty rare for me to ever run into someone I don't like :B I noticed sometimes since I'm so nice, people that the majority of others dislike actually like me :O

How do you feel about artistic nudity? I have a good pose sketch already, but I'm not so sure about putting clothing on it. XD If you don't like it, that's fine! But I thought I should ask.

Just think of it this way, if you wouldn't feel comfortable opening the photo in a computer lab full of people with 22 inch iMacs, don't draw it, lol!!! Because I don't have a computer in my dorm, I come to the lab on campus where -everyone- can see what you're doing.

So artistic nudity is fine, as long as it's not going to make anyone's cheeks turn red. I usually ask for clothing ever since this one guy drew my with my junk hanging out under my skirt. I was like *instant death* X.x If you think it's too risque, just drape some cloth over me XD

Dunno yet, so guess I'll surprise you ;D My drawing muse is touchy and not really under control yet so just link me refs for both of them (preferred emotions/moods if any) and I'll see what inspires.

I'll link to refs to Beetle (who is my only character) but with the addendum that you're allowed to change her species into anything you want and add over the features of hers that fit. (a betta might have a long purple upper fin for example. While a squirrel just a purple forehead stripe since it would look dumb with a full anime mane XD). And her features are all malleable in any case (the white markings by her eyes move. her horns vanish and reappear and change shape. hair get longer and shorter. whatever works for the picture is fine by me).

Anyways, species changing is my current kick until I create another character to mess with XD

Guardian doesn't really have a fixed appearance, other than "eastern dragon" and "involving purple and gold and red" Everything else is subject to change, so feel free to be creative. Mood is usually fairly regal, Guardian is a kind of power symbol for me, but can be occasionally playful and cuddly as well.

The Kirjak also isn't really fixed, so long as he's winged, deer-like, has one antler, and has fangs. :) He's based on a muntjak, but I've referenced everything from white-tail deer to saluki dogs for various bits of him. Can be humanoid or non-humanoid, whichever. Mood-wise, the kirjak is narcissistic and sometimes cocky, but also prone to being really emo.

I'd like to get more art of my hubby. He's a white tiger/wolf cross, usually wearing either samurai type clothing or desert colored Army camo stuff. Blue eyes, no special markings other than the usual stripes. Have fun with it and thankies. :)
